“The best, and most beautiful things in the world, cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt within the heart.”
July 17th, our next Irvine Lake Mud Run event, won’t be like any other. Of course, it’s always a memorable day, with lots of great energy, and positive people. July 17, 2011, will be an even more remarkable day at Oak Canyon Park (home of the mud run).
Amber Taylor and Jayson Nelson, have decided to get married! They are devoted Gavin’s Groupies, and are so supportive about our cause. They come to every event, and are always so helpful. It makes me teary, to think they have chosen a venue where we will be holding a fundraising event, to begin the next phase of their lives, together – as man and wife. The date of the mud run, will now be their anniversary date. Forever!
To make it even more memorable, our very own John Flores will be marrying them! John became an ordained minister (yes, it’s true), and will be marrying Amber and Jayson, in front of friends and family. As you may know, John is our Team Captain, for Gavin’s Groupies at the mud run. He is the one responsible for us participating at the mud run.
He will also be the one responsible for officially announcing the bride and groom, as husband and wife!
We are so excited for Jayson and Amber, and I don’t think you can get more creative, for a wedding. I honestly find it hard to explain how it feels to have a WEDDING at an event for your son’s foundation. It makes me happy, excited, and anxious. (of course if you know sappy me, I well up with tears at the very thought).
Please leave your good wishes to the husband and wife to be, in the comments section. It’s nice to hear how supportive people are, especially for embarking on such a joyous time in their lives. Congratulations Amber and Jayson! I am grateful of your support, and am beyond touched to share in your special day, on an already special day! Love you guys!!
The future Mr. & Mrs. Nelson, with their ordained minister (who is holding a beer). LOL
